I enjoy working with people in recovery and watching their growth and figuring out who they are as individuals outside of their addiction. I also enjoy learning from them and hope that they can take away just as much from what I am teaching.  I also enjoy mentoring and teaching LADC interns as they grow into the next generation of helping professionals and gain confidence both personally and professionally.  I have been working in substance abuse as a counselor for several years, previously worked in adult foster care for 20 years most of that time as a supervisor, then on an ARMHS and ACT team. 

I enjoy spending time with my family and grandchildren.  I especially enjoy being able to spoil my grandchildren and send them back home. I also enjoy fishing, camping, cooking, going on walks and going on motorcycle rides with my husband.
